Angular and dramatic, the syncopated earrings feature striking free form boulder opals that flash in the sunlight and have been set in 14k gold filled bezels. The earrings are intentionally assymetrical and riveted in the middle with 20k gold beads creating movement. The steel earrings have been etched and 24k gold has been applied using the Keum Boo technique. The top portion of the earrings have been etched and fused with 20k gold. The earrings have been patinated to a dark black and sealed for protection.

While the earrings have been sealed for protection, it is possible (though unlikely) that steel can rust if exposed to moisture. Keep the earrings dry and occasionally rub with a small amount of light oil.
