Senkō (閃光 Flash of light) Pendant

Forged from steel and shaped as an irregular hexagon, this pendant creates a dialogue between strength and luminosity. Its deeply etched surface creates a textured landscape that catches light from every angle. Triangles of silver and gold flash against the darkened steel, applied using the traditional Korean technique of Keum Boo. The precious metals create a sharp contrast between darkened steel and luminous precious metals. The pendant is suspended from a gracefully formed steel neck ring accented with a sprinkling of fused silver powder. Care Instructions

While the jewelry has been sealed for protection, it is possible (though unlikely) that steel can rust if exposed to moisture. Store the jewelry away from moisture and avoid submerging it in any liquids. Avoid contact with perfumes, sunscreens or lotions. Occasionally rub a small amount of light oil into the surface.
